Han Solo

Here is my customized 12" Han Solo.  Unsatisfied with the recent releases of the Han Solo 12" figures Kenner/Hasbro put out for their Collector's series I decided to sculpt my own likeness of Harrison Ford.

Here is a comparison photo of the heads used for the 12" Han figures.  The first one is of the head used for the first of the Solo figures, the second is the newer head used in the recent store exclusives, and the last is my own version used on my Custom Han Solo figures.

HAN SOLO - Return of the Jedi
The Body is just a "CC" or "carded" Joe.  The added articulation works very nice, but the barrel chested joes are a bit misporportioned, but until I decide to make my own head, Ill just stick with the Hasbro bodies.

The Costume is decent enough, but I don't happen to like the matierial that his shirt is made from, that and his original is to short in the sleeves to be transferred over to a better body.

OTHER ADDITIONS
I also used in the making of this figure, a pair of Han Solo boots and holster pulled off an AMT/Ertl vinyl model, one trench coat from a G.I. Joe Eisenhower, and several other odd bits and pieces.

Here are some custom Broomhandle Mouser style blasters.
For the most part, Hasbro's accessories have been fairly good as far as
detail goes,  but they are usually not in the correct scale and tend to look
more like a cheap toy rather than a collector's item.
